How to easily send money from Kenya to Tanzania from your Safaricom MPESA line.
Follow the Guide below:
1. Go to M-PESA and select Lipa Na M-PESA option.
2. Select Pay Bill
3. Enter the business number as 255255.
4. Under account number, enter the Tanzania recipient’s mobile number in the format 2557XXXXXXXX.
5. Enter your prefered amount to send in Ksh.
6. Enter your M-PESA PIN and confirm the transaction.
Done ! you have successfully sent money to the receivers' Vodacom M-Pesa account.
Note : Only registered on Vodacom M-Pesa members will use this service.
The exchange rate, it will be converted automatically and the prevailing exchange rate indicated on the transaction confirmation message you get.
